General
Guidelines
1- Respect, the other People. this means when
someone asks you to stop something (like killing them, calling
them names, generally being annoying, whatever) As long as it
isnt that much of a hassle you probably should stop.
2- Remeber, Remeber that this isnt just a group of people in a
Tavern on some world. Its a group of Real life people Roleplaying
sometimes at other times just talking. This is actually probably
the most important Guideline.
3- Recall, well kinda. this ones hard to explain. because
sometimes you dont want your character to die and you are to
foolish to run away or you werent given a chance to you may wish
to stay alive as that character. Normally its best to find a way
to use this Rule to an IC solution. Some good examples of this
would be Someone Raising your Character from the dead. Or that
blow that severed your arm didnt kill you but made you a
crippled. Or.... Your armor protected that death blow enough that
you didnt die. Other Applications is your character is simply
unkillable but it takes a deal of time for your body to return to
normal.

OOC Chit chat- General Guideline
As long as it is not breaking respect for anyone and no one minds. Feel free to do as you want. This is your place to relax just as much as it is anyones
Characters- Suggestion
So you dont know how to write up a
character? Well lets hope this helps you let me outline some
steps first and then in the end I will give you examples
Step 1 Idea
Step 2 Expanding the Idea into form
Step 3 Expanding the form into a story
Step 4 Expanding the Story into an attitude
Step 5 Expanding the attitude into values
Step 6 Expanding the values into a Character
Well firstly you need an idea
Just about any idea will do from the farmers Daughter to the Gods
of creation
Secondly, you are going to want to make that Idea into a form
sometimes that
is the same thing but the idea in this stage is to start to
decide on what
this character is what they want here what they do here.
Thirdly, you want a story what brought y ou here did you wander
in? or were
you molested as a child torn apart by demons and reformed in pain
as an
immortal mummy? what happened to make you and what affects you
Fourthly, from the story, you should start to see your characters
attitude.
Forgiving, loving, hating, molesting, bitter, exstatic, cheerful,
polite, reserved ,
silent, this can be your characters Idea as well.
Fifthly, from your attitude you should see a lot of Values for
example
if you are the bitter dog of a farmer who is has lost one leg but
found
true love you are probably going to be fierce in protecting what
you love
but as long as people dont try to take it away you will be kind
and
caring to them
And now you have an amazingly intricute design for your character
most of
your powers and weaknesses should be apperent but you probably
have details
to refine date of birth and such
Now
for some examples
Idea: HUGE black dragon
Form: Sosinsky a big dumb black dragon
Story: After falling into hibernation to
survive the killing by his parents
his growth inhibitor was not produced enough to stop his growth
so he grew
on and on till he woke up later in his life old but not
intelligent. huge
but not exactly smart
Attitude: Arrogent proud cunning and fast
Values: I am the best biggest and by far most
superior nothing can challange
my right of domination on this ground you will be my meals one
and all if
you wish it or not all I need to do is catch you and pickle you
Character: A huge 1600' wing spand and 1400'
long black dragon spits acid is
incredibly tough and fast with others of his size
Strengths: All that is dragon is him, massive
size and some spells fear
factors and such
Weaknesses: His real name controls him, massive
size, ignorance and
stupidity arrogence and he is ignorable for the most part as he
is more talk
then attack unless you are a threat he will likely leave you be
Idea: Guile An Old man
Form: An old man who seems rather active
Story: Spending many years in the military he
eventually found a place and
called it the stone altar he became connected to it the powerr of
it keeping
him alive and the power he gives it keeping it changing and thus
alive
Attitude: Friendly for the most part hard to
cross patient silent and old
Values: Theres a lot more to learn I hope one
day I can see it all before I
die till then why waste the time fighting? I have seen much to
much bloodshed to
enjoy it
Character: Old harmless almost a speed bump to
demons magicians and fighters
Strengths: Amazingly Agile for one of his age
and in shape
Weaknesses: The altar itself gives him this
strength and without it he is
weak
Idea: Half skelatal healer
Form: A young mage fighter who can heal by
taking injury onto himself
Story: During a very early healing before he
had refined his ability he
tried to raise some oen who was dead with it the resulting pain
demolished
half of his face and all of his arm into skelatal structure his
mind remains
strong but he was always afrad to expose himself to other people
who might
wish to use his power for thier own advantage
Attitude: Scared reserved almost feared
Values: If only I hadnt If only I knew more If
only I could have done better
If only I hadnt failed
Character: Strong easy to cross levelheaded but
remarkably silent and
normally uninvolved
Strengths: Spells fighting long sword and broad
sword age healing and General
cuteness
Weaknesses: Ugly scary and reserved not liked
never respected and always on
the verge of killing himself
StoryLines- Suggestions
Generally
when you are creating a storyline you need four things
1- Friends to do it with
2-Characters to do it with
3-Enemies for the people to hate
4- A method to drag people into it
A good Storyline will be able to have an unlimited number of
people enter it and exit it without any problems also it will be
able to go on even after the villian is removed. Good storylines
are not always unique sometimes they are simple. When you are
playing in a storyline and you dont want anymore people involved
Find a method to control them yourself.
